Is this not one of the most adorably beautiful, vintage 50′s gowns you’ve ever seen??? The 40′s is usually my era of choice but this lovely garment makes me rethink that entirely!

It is for sale on at tabithatoes shop at www.etsy.com. I am utterly envious of the person who buys this and can squeeze themselves in to this gowns petite 24 inch waist.

This is a 60′s-70′s era Olga nightgown that I intend to wear as a dress! I’m undecided on whether I’ll wear it as a Maxi dress or crop it to the knees, add some black trim to the bottom and wear it with boots. Probably the latter because I suspect it will be overwhelming on my frame as a Maxi dress but we’ll see!

This piece is not vintage but I’m super excited about it because it is what I’m going to wear for my upcoming Pin Up shoot! A local photographer tracked me down and needs all kinds of shots for his portfolio so we are doing a Pin Up shoot, Old Hollywood Glam shoot and probably a Bridal shoot as well. The first two ideas were mine, obviously.

Not that there is anything wrong with wearing a dress from Macy’s, not at all. The point is that a strategically placed brooch or earrings that make your ex boyfriends new girlfriend go, “OMG, where did you get those?? I want them!” and no one will even notice you happen to be wearing the same dress they tried on 3 days ago.

One of my personal favorites is this brooch pinned on a plum dress. Next time I wear it I promise I’ll take pics and post them. 

I usually tend to carry older vintage clutches but I just couldn’t resist the pink and green combo in this outfit!
